After “Words of Silence” in January, singer and fashion mogul Juno Mak bookends a successful 2008 with his second album release of the year, titled “Why”. The album is headlined by “Awry”, which in Cantonese is pronounced exactly the same as the album title “Why”; “Written Too Much” (Track 11, a solo version appears on Track 4), a chart-topping duet with Anthony Lun; and “I Never Have Secret – Secret Remix” (Track 12), featuring hip-hop band 24Herbs. Produced by ace composer Peter Kam, who won a Silver Bear award at the Berlin International Film Festival for the film score of Isabella, the album also features a number of other big names on the roster, including popular singer-songwriters like Louis Cheung (Track 6), Endy Chow (Track 9), and Ivana Wong (Track 10).
